Invitation to participate in European Youth Unemployment seminar in Sweden 24th – 30th of January 2010. During the seminar you will meet other youthworkers to discuss and develop new methods and strategies, share best practices on how to combat unempleyment in Europe and explore the possibilities with the Youth In Action program and the informationnetwork Eurodesk.

The participants will contibute to the agenda through sharing good practises and present the labour market from their respective countries.

Aim
The aim for the seminar is to identify and develop new methods and share good practice on how to combat youth unemployment in Europe.

Goals

All participants should have increased knowledge about the possibilities with the program Youth In Action and the informationnetwork Eurodesk.

All participants should have increased knowledge about the labourmarket and situation for youth in other European countries.

All participants should have increased knowledge and practical methods on how to work more effective with changing attitudes and stimulate personal entrepreneurship among youth.

For who?

Youthworkers in program countries who have experience working with youth unemployment in your organisation.

Persons willing to present and share good practice, information about the labourmarket and discuss the situation for youths in their respective countries.

Persons with an ambition to expand your organisations network and discuss new project ideas.

All participants have to be over 18 years old

Good communication skills - working language is English

When?
The seminar will be in Sweden 25th to 29th January (arrival 24th and departure 30th)

Financial conditions
The hosting organisation will provide accomodation, meals and local transportation. We will reimburse 70% of the travel expenses.

How to apply?

1. Send the application form to mathias.mellgren@communicare.nu no later than the 15th of august
2. Send the signed and stamped Partner Promotor agreement (part III) scanned to mathias.mellgren@communicare.nu no later than the 15th of august.
3. Selection of participants will be communicated on the 25th of august
4. We will send the confirmation of approval for the project and all the information about the seminar no later than the 1st of December.
