L8 Create have been succesful in securing funding from the LifeLong Learning Programme to become a partner in a LEONARDO Partnership Project called INNO-VET.
The INNO-VET partnership co-ordinated by GEMS Northern Ireland is a two year project that will explore innovative models of best practice in vocational education and training (VET) which can enhance the workplace learning of employees who are non-native speakers. The partnership will undertake seven workshops (one in each partner country). Prior to each workshop the host partner will provide a case-study good practice model for workplace VET which focuses on methods, target groups, content including any innovative approaches/tools which make the VET successful.
L8 will recieve €20,000 to take part in 12 ‘mobilities' across the 2 years.

Partnership projects are about co-operation and exchange of information at a European level. The funding available allows you to work with partners from across Europe to share practice, discuss problems and compare solutions on a particular topic. Partnerships can be on any topic in vocational education and training.
