Access to Heritage Project (part of Mencap) have been selected by Leonardo and Grundtvig UK National Agency ECOTEC to receive Preparatory Visits funding to attend the Grundtvig Contact Seminar 'Lifelong Learning Paths in Alternative Environments', organised by Spanish National Agency OAPEE, and will take place in Benalmádena (Málaga), Spain on 14-17 October 2009.
The seminar is for anyone who wants to develop Grundtvig Partnership projects around the theme of learning in informal settings, such as museums, libraries, heritage cities, natural or local parks, opera houses or any other spaces. It will provide the opportunity to meet partners, exchange ideas and create the projects of the future.
Access to Heritage is a forum of people with learnign disabilities who work with heritage venues to make them more accessible.
