Social inclusion
Project summary:
This project has been born through the recognition that the financial crises has had an obvious impact in society and has damaged even more those who already were in a difficult situation. Its effect has been economical for families in debt, long-term unemployed and so, but also has had cultural, geographical and educational consequences.
Immigrants and ethnic minorities, people living in complicated districts and young students with difficult backgrounds or early school leavers, are even more vulnerable to be affected. Their education, work opportunities and quality of life in general are so in danger.
A solution is highly needed and the TC will work on it with tools such as: creativity and innovation, sport, healthy lifestyle, intercultural dialogue, etc.
The main aims of the course are:
To provide participants with the necessary competences to increase the quality of their work with youth with fewer opportunities.
Exchange practise, knowledge and experiences in the field of social inclusion for those who have been affected for the recent and still lasting economic crises.
To develop new YiA projects action 1 and 2.
The main tools the course will offer are related with approaches and methods useful in supporting youth with fewer opportunities in their personal and social development as well as empowering them with competencies that will facilitate and promote their inclusion in the labour market as well as in society, as active citizens.
